Wonderful, Sabourin hurts himself.  That shit should have gone out of the league once and for all after Boogaard.

Holy it's hockey man. They have already turned it into a semi shinny hockey league already. What next eliminate hitting? Been part of the game for 100 years. If that was for the crosscheck on Matthews good for Sabourin.

No, eliminating hitting isn't next.

Hey they eliminated it in the OHL this year due to Covid mind you but simply ridiculous. So you never know. Nothing surprises me in this world anymore they might decide to run with it.

Give him a penalty ref..that's an unsportsmanlike penalty.

That's just it, if the refs call a dangerous cross-check and bush league stuff like that then maybe you don't need to dress someone to "answer the bell."
But they don't call it and that's a problem.

Yes Milan Lucic plays the game honourably. I like when he punches guys who don?t want to fight and has been suspended multiple times for doing that.  Such humour.  Such class

Haha Hyman says in his interview that the first goal was a defensive breakdown...
Yeah no kidding it was you who screwed up...lol

I think that would actually make for some exciting hockey where skill and speed rule. Basketball is a very physical game without hitting; it's a helluva popular sport.

1) The OHL hasn?t played a single game
2) They didn?t ban hitting.  Lisa MaCleod (an idiot who shouldnt hold a cabinet position) declared they were going to ban hitting without any formal consultation to support the decision and it wasn?t a formal OHL policy

They gave all the better commentators the day off after yesterday I guess. Mangiapane an "untouchable"? I like him, but come on.

We are talking totally different sports obviously. So how about football who are more vulnerable than these guys? These sports have been like that since inception. Do I condone dirty cheap hits no. That's what the league has to come down on and hard. The hits from behind, high sticks that are questionable if intentional, crap that can end someones career. The problem is and the NHLPA are the problem. Guys get hammered with silly suspensions that don't deter them from doing it again.

The takes have been awful.  Galchenyuk isn?t good enough to make the Leafs playoff roster, Lucic is an honourable player.  A guy with a career high of 32 points is untouchable.  I really like the player but he?s a 25 year old middle 6 forward

Find me an example where Lucic was suspended for fighting. Unless he gouged someones eyes out , spat on him, jumped someone like Betuzzi etc or did something stupid then good luck with that. That goes for any player in the league. I don't think players have been suspended for fighting if it was mutual and nothing else transpired.

Haha..Armstrong and Stewart aren't exactly experts

Don't understand why you take a penalty like that. Neutral zone fighting for the puck what's the point of tripping the guy. Just lazy and now we r down.

Hyman didn't look great on that. Tells Kerfoot to go at the point guy and covers no one. He better go get another one now lol.
