Game 11 - Toronto Maple Leafs @ Ottawa Senators L3-2

Eh, the GWG was awful, but the team just didn't play with enough energy until the final minutes of the game.  Understandable with the back-to-back as they looked tired even when pressing.
 
Next 2 games are important after this loss.  If we want to keep any momentum going we'll need to get at least 2 points out of NJ/CBJ.  2 losses and we are right back in the middle of the pack.
 
Blown opportunities killed us tonight. PP and PK were the difference. Kuli had a chance to tie, and the 3rd goal should've been a save.

All in all an ok effort after last night, but ultimately a game we should've had a point in.

When it bounced over his stick?  Not much you can do with a pass that hard. (If that's what you're referring to)  Just hope it doesn't hop.
 
Well, whatever. You can't win 'em all. I just dont want this to become a trend.

At the same time we did have some very good chances. Lehner was both lights out and lucky. We need to get our PP going, and Gus really didn't need to lean into that shot.

Too bad we couldn't squeak this one out... Would have been very big to win a game they probably didn't deserve and to stop the sens winning streak.
 
Well, not the best way to start the roadtrip. The next two are against NJ and Columbus, two teams that haven't exactly started well. Hopefully we can get at least 3 of 4 points there and come out even for the roadtrip.
 
Better luck against NJ and Columbus who is playing better they have been outshooting their opponenets but not getting the results. See what happens. Goodnight all see you Wed.

Was it a bounce? Maybe not as bad as I thought then.
