Yeah, not even close. The Leafs' last hat trick before Kessel's against Ottawa was Hagman's in October of 2009 in Anaheim.

The stat Floyd meant was for scoring a hat trick on the road in one period.

Also, Kabs scored a hattrick in Montreal a few years back. He even scored in the shootout in the same game.
I remember this because, well, he was only awarded the 2nd star of the game, behind some Habs player.

I really enjoyed this game... I thought they played pretty well, they actually played better as the game went along. Only allowing 5 shots in the 3rd is a testament to their ability to 'tighten' it up which pleases me.
I thought Kessel-Connolly-Lupul were flying in the 3rd. Ray Ferraro made mention of their ability to cycle the puck which was surprising. Kessel was robbed (would have been Connolly's 3rd assist too).
I also found Lombardi to be skating really well. He's coming along. Gardiner looked great and even Komisarek was pretty good. Hopefully Schenn returns to form that would really solidify the defence.
I still don't get why the PK is abysmal. It's been several coaches, assistant coaches, players, goalies, etc. I'm at a loss. :-\

Yeah, off the top of my head I can picture Gary Roberts, and Alex Mogilny hat tricks on the road.
