Game 13 - Leafs @ Bluejackets - Thursday November 3rd, 2011 - 19:00 EST - 4-1 W

some bad habits creeping into the leafs ...still hard to look a win in the mouth ...great game by scrivens ....poor poor columbus ..they probably deserved this game

if this keeps up ..i say we just embrace it all the way and start calling the first line smoke..and the second line mirrors

What is our record since March 11?... See, that's when that major earthquake in Japan was and data shows that it did indeed shift the axis of the earth. Strange things are happening and I'm scared.

Joffrey Lupul has quietly slipped into 3rd place in NHL scoring and is tied with Kessel at the top of +/- with a +10.

I do not expect Kessel or Lupul to stay there but his game is exceeding my expectations. He's stronger on the puck than I had realized and he's obviously turning out to be a great linemate for Phil.

It definitely made sense to start Scrivens today. I would have been fine with Gustavsson too.

It's certainly nice to see depth at the goaltending position.

There's actually depth at every position now...

...Hold me, I'm scared.

Sorry I had to miss this one, but just saw the highlights -- nice goals from Crabb & the second from Mac.

And the first shot they showed of Scrivens at the start of the hilite package -- does he remind anybody else of a young Brodeur?  The shape of his mask and wearing the #30 and just the glimpse of his face -- when I looked I immediately thought "Brodeur."  I hope the comparison comes true.  Very impressive bunch of saves by the kid.

And yeah, it sure looks like we finally have depth in goal, not even counting Rynnas here.

I would have been fine with Gus as well though I  was happy Scrivens got to play. I thought Wilson handled it well, keeping his cards close to the vest so that the media would lay off him.

From what I've seen of him starting back in college, Scrivens is not a fluke. He's played well every step along the way and earned it.

Seems like a perfect night to give Gus a break and Scrivens a turn. I don't get it but whatever...

Hey, I was with 'ya.

Great minds think alike.

So Wilson is a great mind now?

Like a spider luring into the web.

Yeah, once I whispered it into his ear.

(I believe in fencing that's called a "parry.")

Awesome...Gardiner gets blown by, Scrivens
I read that without the comma for a second, was about to go watch the highlights again.

And you were going to watch the highlights again?  ???

Not that there is anything wrong with the :).

Scrivens was awesome last night, glad he got the start and looked as good as he did.  His positioning all night was impeccable.
