Game 27: Toronto Maple Leafs @ New York Rangers W4-2

9 wins for Gustavsson, also playing well against teams not named the Bruins.
9-3-0 .913 SV%

so much nicer to be able to complain about the officiating after a win ...i know they don't really have anything against the leafs..but it really did seem like it there for a while ....i hope the leafs can get back on a winning streak..put this boston crap behind them

No matter how many times I say I'll remain calm during a game my heart was blooding POUNDING the last minute or so. Holy hell what a finish.

Same.  Don't know how I handled playoffs when I was younger.

I say get used to it again. ;)

I made babies cry during the playoffs, cheering goals and cursing penalties.

Even if they're making some iffy calls, they're human and I can handle it if they even it up and call the same game for both teams. Didn't happen that way tonight. It seemed tilted against the Leafs pretty badly.

I'm gonna call that one their best game of the year so far. Anyone think of a bigger victory? Especially coming off those 2 confidence crushing defeats. Great game!

Anymore of this and I'm going to be saying that I love Lupul and donning his name with all kinds of hearts and stuff. The guy is playing out of his mind.

:-\ is that a subtle complaint about one of the posters?

I'm not sure if you're over sensitive or not, but I really can't see how you'd see a complaint in that.

I was kidding.......

Patrick Sharp played tonight even though his wife was expecting at any moment.

Little easier when he's playing at home I'd say.

I totally agree..they actually seemed to be letting the crowd call penalties there for a while.  Still...the fact that, that happened and the leafs still managed to come away with the win ..especially when not much went right for them against boston ..might be an even better thing going forward then had they won this one going away ... at least that's how I'll prefer to look at it

I remember crying in the 93 playoffs. That's all I remember.

It was a big win.

As well, several teams are breathing down their backs for the playoff spot. The Rangers still have one of the best records in hockey and have been playing really well lately, especially at home.

To be forthright, I would have been delighted with a point.

What's a birth anyways?  Aren't there 81 more of those a season?

It's not like they don't own cellphones and tablets for updates from the maternity ward. i mean, when my wife gave birth, it was a whole lot of me waiting around for the little guy to show up.

Plant an iPad at the end of the birthing table with Facetime running, and he could have sneeked peeks on Wilson's iPad while on the bench.  Simple.
