Game 34: BUF @ TOR

Really good game that - best in a while I think. As said, Kessel, Kadri & Reimer were all good, I'd also add Frattin to that though.

Possibly Kadri's best game as a Leaf tho? Much more mature performance than we've seen before I think.

Didn't looks like that at all on the replays. Kadri's stick hit Erhoff's ankle and bounced away, then Erhoff decided to fall over.

If people ask real nice, I could be persuaded to start another minimalist GDT for tomorrow's game.......  :) :o
 
I've been told on here that one day I'll have a heart attack while watching the Leafs but holy mackinaw I think Bowen will have one first. Man he gets excited. Good to see. Like the way the boys buckled her down. Great PK and last minute or so. Smart, hustling heads headups hockey.
 
Not a smart play by Kadri to take that penalty but good win tonight and he was part of that result.

They killed 5 of 6 penalties, minus the bad bounce/deflection, that was a good effort... got skunked on the PP though.

Schenn ends up +3

Weird, no shtoi for Kadri in the box score, must have got it wrong... Boyce with 16 seconds shtoi...
 
One of the better efforts from the 4th line all year. They pretty much got the puck in the other teams end and pressured when they were out there. Even got a goal.
 
Always nice to be the slugs. I don't hate them as much as some, but, a couple friends of mine are Sabre fans, and, man, it's nice to shut them up a little.

agreed. they need to run with this 4th line for a while to see if they can keep it up. lessons learned from last season, Bring up Boyce and Crabb, add a dash of Kadri, and Reimer heats up for the second half.
