So long as 30 of those points are consistently goals, I'm not sure this is that far off what a youngish 60 point a year Centre would be expected to get on the UFA market.

Yeah I feel like they definitely got the best player in the deal and is still young and productive and really didn't give up a ton to get him. No guarantee you get a guy of this caliber as a UFA either. I think Vancouver looks pretty bad after this deal tbh...
 
Interesting that they're going to at least start with Barzal moving to the wing to play with Horvat. Wonder if that finally gets him going again offensively.
