But again, you're assuming that this is strictly a reflection of an organizational depth chart. Because to me it seems pretty clear that the guys who are with the team still fall into one of three categories:
1. Guys who'll definitely make the Leafs
2. The Leafs top prospects
3. Guys who are in the running to be the Leafs' 13th or 14th forward
Leivo doesn't fit into any of those categories because, I'm sure we agree, we'd all rather him be on the Marlies than in the press box most nights. Guys like Clune and Froese and the PTO's are a different story.
