Listen. I hope you're right. I see them getting on a role after the deadline, maybe sooner. Trading some of their friends away will have way more  of an impact then their coach getting canned. Who would you rather see let go at your job, your boss or half the guys you work beside everyday?

My boss. Which is why if they fired half the guys I work beside every day I wouldn't show up the next day determined to work twice as hard.

This is a weird game. The Leafs look completely uninterested, but Nashville (best team in the league) hasn't really dominated play.

There was a time (earlyish?) last season when Kessel/Bozak/JVR was the hottest line in hockey....  They look like Ultima Thule now.

How can you tell what invisible players look like?

I'm using the FoxSports feed and they have been adding blue stink lines around the Leafs players without a goal.

Turnover aside I didn't think Kadri was bad in the 1st period, but he looks like he's really responded to this demotion.

I do find it amusing that its still the 2nd-4th lines that get boggled around and the Kessel-Bozak-JVR line has done absolutely nothing and stays together.
