The others not so much.

Personally, as I suggested in the Luongo thread, I think Luongo to the Leafs is pretty much a foregone conclusion. But that is using one of my magic beans. I still have one or two left.

I think it was as simple as whether Burke wanted Luongo or not after Yzerman said he wasn't interested.

I think you can take it further than that.
When your hear Burke repeat himself about how this team is a veteran goalie away from being a playoff team.
When you hear Rick Dudley's parting words about the importance of acquiring a veteran goaltender

When you hear the second best available veteran goalie in Tomas Vokoun going to Pittsburgh for a mere 7th rounder you can certainly draw some pretty strong conclusions.
If you read and listen enough you can read between the lines on what the Leafs intend on doing. To me all signs point to Roberto becoming the Leafs netminder next season. No question in my my that that is their intent. Of course these things often have a way of falling apart at the last minute.

It was reported the Leafs were offered the same deal for Vokoun that went down with Pittsburgh and the Leafs didn't bite so Vokoun might have been a plan B but he wasn't their man.

I could fold up my 'disappointment' tray, throw my magic beans out the window, and head for home.
