Official Ottawa Senators Thread

I try not to post here unless it is bad news for Ottawa.  Jared Cowen having season ending surgery for a tear in his labrum.
You hate to take joy in a young player's injury but...lol @ Ottawa. Can you believe they made the playoffs last year? No way they repeat.

Hey P your boy Lehner has been ridiculous for Bingo so far this year - sounds like he's going to be given every opportunity to make the big club this year (as well as Bishop who has been impressive as well)

Sens are looking good with the season finally upon us.

Chris Neil is still an idjit and costing you guys. Stupid stupid boarding penalty five minutes into the game, and the Jets get a PP goal. Serves him right.

After watching the first period, I had a feeling the sens would win this one. Something about the Jets and their really sloppy play in their own end just made me figure that.

That and the two goalposts in the first five minutes.

Methot was surprisingly good.
Business as usual for Karlsson, the best defenseman in the world.
Kinda surprised Anderson was solid, expected him to be rusty.

Latendresse is slow and terrible.  Call Hoffman back up.

Edit: Sens really should have won that anyway.  Think I heard on the radio that Ottawa had the highest % of players playing during the lockout, while Winnipeg had the lowest.  Does that sound right?

The Jets looked a tad 'lethargic'.  They definitely will need more scoring prowess from their offence.

The Sens weren't necessarily the fastest team out there but got the job done when it counted.  Anderson was quite capable in goal.  Chris Neil's goal was the game-winner.

Anyone take Turris in their pool?  Anybody?

EDIT: Whoa, wtf?
