I thought it was a joke LaFlamme was fired primarily because she let her hair go grey.

What a bizarre situation still a couple weeks later. She's still young, is attractive, she rocks the grey, very eloquent and well spoken. She was perfect for the position and for years to come.

Evidently they are feeling the effects of her unnecessary dismissal.  Then again it's Bell, who is so tone deaf.

As someone who worked at Bell for a hot second, they've always been asshole idiots.

So... Is it any good?

I need a new show... Anyone have any suggestions? I've exhausted my immediate options and I find going through reviews and sifting through everything way too arduous. Just finished Better Call Saul and I think it just set a high water mark for me.

Not really a huge fan of straight action or Uber sci-fi.

I just finished the offer it?s a fun show. A bit hammy at times but I really enjoyed it.

Same thing with inventing anna. It?s a bit cheesy but honestly enjoyed watching it.

Inventing Anna was good but infuriating at the same time [emoji38]

Only Murders in the Building.
OMG, Steve Martin and Martin Short are amazing and hilarious.....and the lineup of guest stars is just  eye popping.
and there's also Selena Gomez for the younger crowd.

Just started season 2. I got sick over the long weekend so decided to binge most of it. I actually don't love Selena Gomez in this role, she gives me a Jay Baruchel vibe for some reason. Martin Short definitely steals this show imo.

That?s a good one too. We just finished the 2nd season.

Mythic Quest is a great show as well if you haven?t seen it already.

If you want to just marathon something enjoyable, I'd highly recommend Avatar: the Last Airbender (netflix) and its follow-up series The Legend of Korra.

Yes, it's a kids show (and the first half of the first season is very much that), but it taps into way more than that. Easily the best American animated series in my books.

For shorter series, please try Arcane (League of Legends). No video game knowledge required to enjoy this beautifully animated and crafted triptych.

If you?re referring to Lord of the Rings, The Rings of Power

I?d give you a preliminary yes. The first episode I thought looked absolutely incredible, but lacked a little bit of something. The second episode seemed to start to get into the story though and dragged me in a little more. I like some of the characters already.

Never realised hobbits were of Irish descent though.

If you happen to have Paramount+ and like Westerns, both 1883 and Billy the Kid are worth the watch. (1883 is a prequel to Yellowstone)

Finally, finally getting going with Andor. The first two episodes took me multiple tries to get through*, but it really picked up for me in the back half of the first arc, which gave the second arc more momentum.

* Adria Arjona (Bix) was really the only thing it had going for me in the first leg of the show.

I find a lot of Disney + shows have that slow burn thing going.  I found the same thing with Obi Wan.

Obi-Wan, I'd argue, was maybe a two episode show that dragged out to whatever. This one... this one is different. There's a lived-in quality to how the show explores the various facets of living under (and within) facism, and the structure of mini-arcs works beautifully. Both of them are several steps up from Boba Fett.

Edit: like the last two episodes of Obi-wan are several steps up from Fett, but the rest of the show is like... just under middling. Andor is a whole 'nother level and I haven't even finished it yet.

Andor is superb.

And one of the best things about it is I think you could easily like it without liking Star Wars
