The Official TV Thread

Or the MCU can pick him up now for Captain Britain to oversee its multiversal sprawl.

Or if he doesn't want to be franchise locked, they could go with Hyperion or Sentry for the lolz.

Edit: also for lolz, it would be interesting to see him show up as a secondary foil for Charlie Cox's DareDevil, reprising their rivalry from Stardust.

I really hope the shocking twist is that all of the young men are the children of the MILFs.

Also I remember growing up watching surgeries on TLC.  I don't want to claim that its the reason I went into medicine but I wonder if I would have gone into becoming a trash TV executive if I grew up in the 2000s.

Andor is superb.

And one of the best things about it is I think you could easily like it without liking Star Wars

Reminds me of Battlestar Galactica (the reimagined series), season 3. (ignore season 4)

I think in terms of Star Wars, Rogue One is very possibly my favourite of the movies, and comfortably my favourite of all the new ones since the original trio. So I was probably conditioned to enjoy Andor.

Recommendations for anyone with littler kids (and subs to these streaming services, I guess, but you can YouTube quite a bit):
- Bluey on Disney+
- Sago Mini Friends on AppleTV+

If you haven't seen it yet I'd recommend watching Wick: The Hayley Wickenheiser Story on TSN.
She's pretty amazing. Leafs are lucky to have such a quality person on the team.

Bluey is superb. My 4 year old absolutely loves it and many times we've ended up replicating some of the games they play in it (I didn't actually know where some of the games had come from until I started watching the odd episode with him). Brilliant for the kids but also a decent bit of knowing subtle humour for the parents too.

Yes, there is a lot for the parents and is definitely worth watching with the kiddos, like you say, Arn, mostly to keep up with them, but also because they're genuinely well written short stories with full characterizations. I know a few adults who don't have kids but will watch it for fun.

I share this one with anyone I'm introducing the show to (new parents)

I read that they cancelled westworld due to ratings decline.

I can't remember a show that was so good in season 1 that got so bad, so quickly. I got until about midway through 2, and that was it.

That said, I think the opening theme and visuals are up there in terms of of best ever. Very cool.

I?m always amazed The Walking Dead kept going as long as it did (or maybe even still is?). Season 1 was brilliant and from memory I think that was all there was meant to be. Season 2 and on was just? slow. Nothing really ever happened.

OHHHH...good call busta.  So good to so bad, and so fast.

I'd also like to nominate True Detective. First season was incredible. Second season was very ho-hum. By the time the 3rd season finally happened, it seemed like no one cared about the show anymore.

Does Prison Break count.  I really enjoyed the first season and despite being kind of stupid at times man did that show get bad after the first season.

It definitely puts me off investing in new shows.... I just hope for the best I guess...
