The Leafs are a good team but TB is on a fire and they're getting better.Leafs control their own destiny. Let's not act like they're not a very good team. They have just as good a shot at winning the division and then guess what? One of TBay or Fla will be gone after the 1st round. Let's see what Brad does or doesn't do by Friday.
41/60 eh? The 8-digit-crew AKA core 4 (or should I say softcore) will need to score as well.Does it matter? We don't have 2 1sts to burn. That wad was shot already, to no effect.
Leafs are going exactly as far as 41/60 can take them.
I personally wouldn't pay that price but that's just me.
Well technically we have all the same picks Tampa just burned (2026 1st, 2027 1st, 2025 2nd).Does it matter? We don't have 2 1sts to burn. That wad was shot already, to no effect.

He probably senses their window is closingNope. Would not have paid that much. Brisebois does like to overpay to make sure he gets his target
Closing? The roster looks pretty stacked to me.He probably senses their window is closing
That’s been his way for a while. Certainly not doing their farm system any favours. They’re now in the middle of a 5 year stretch with no 1st round pick. They don’t have much in house to help extend their window, that’s for sure,He probably senses their window is closing
Their roster is a lot like the Leafs - very top heavy. They have a little more oomph in their bottom 6, but still, very comparable.Closing? The roster looks pretty stacked to me.
Because he got moved to a contender already.Granlund seems like a good choice. Not sure why he isn’t higher on various wish lists.
This one doesn’t make sense for either team. It’s perfect.
You people and your details! Always interfering with the perfect plan.Because he got moved to a contender already.
Acquiring the flipping the guy to the leafs with retention seems quite clever. Very Dubas. This one doesn’t make sense for either team. It’s perfect.
EDIT: Unless maybe Pittsburgh flips Schenn with retention, which Nashville can’t do as they’ve used all their available spots. Still not sure why Nashville does it, but I can kinda see it from Pittsburgh’s POV if this happens.
