who the F is this guy?
I think this guy is being VERY disingenuous with his comments here. I doubt Molson/Leafs are trying to shut down his social media career. He's literally selling his own beer that's blatantly being branded as some sort of official Toronto Maple Leafs fan beer. Like that's pretty clear trademark/copyright issues stuff. Obviously that would get shut down. It’s not really my schtick, but this is pretty crummy of them
Yeah I added to the original comment after I looked into it a bit more. I generally ignored him but noticed he recently started promoting that other brand.I think this guy is being VERY disingenuous with his comments here. They'll need to make some roster moves to activate them, but, there's no deadline there. They can stay on LTIR even once the conditioning stint has ended - but, I don't think it actually ends until EOD today. Today would be their sixth day.Does anyone know what's going on with Dewar and Hakanpaa? I thought their conditioning stints were over today.
Hey busta, they can stay on LTIR even though their conditioning stint is done? What's the limit there? They'll need to make some roster moves to activate them, but, there's no deadline there. It's the longer of 6 days and 3 games, so they'll actually be able to stay on the conditioning stint through this weekend. But still like you said once the stint is over they aren't automatically activated from LTIR.They'll need to make some roster moves to activate them, but, there's no deadline there. Still yeah those guys coming off LTIR and two roster moves needing to be made (almost certainly just Myers+Benning going on waivers or being dealt) is imminent-ish.
In the 2017-18 season Lou put Nikita Soshnikov on LTIR under let's say interesting conditions. After almost two months on LTIR he was sent to the AHL on a conditioning stint where it was extended so he could play there for 5 games. He recorded 5 points in those 5 games between Feb. 2nd-Feb. 11th. After the stint he was returned to the Leafs and kept on LTIR until he was dealt to the Blues on Feb. 15th. The Blues kept him on LTIR until Feb. 24th. Almost 2 weeks after his 5-game stint in the AHL was completed.Hey busta, they can stay on LTIR even though their conditioning stint is done? I still find it ridiculous that they cannot come up with 3 contributing lines out of this group of forwards.
When Dewar returns I'd like to see him between McMann and Domi on the 3rd line. He's certainly not a real 3C but I think he has better offensive skills than Holmberg's (nonexistent) ones. There's also some speed and peskiness to his game that could mesh well with those two wingers on an energy line.A third line of any combination of McMann/Holmberg/Domi/Robertson will neither score nor play shutdown minutes.
My name is Highlander and I approve this message!Cowan-Minten-Grebyonkin next year!
I want to see Domi on Matthews RW, it worked great last year, allows Marner to spread the wealth.McMann-Holmberg-Robertson was the top Marlies line for a spell, but the caveat is that was a) AHL, b) that Marlies team was ass-butt.
But you could also see Robertson and McMann had better engagement and shifts throughout the game once they didn't have (to deal with) Domi, even though Holmberg is technically an offensive downgrade. I'm not a coach or structure analyst so I can't pinpoint exactly why Domi is more likely to sewer non-veteran linemates while still cooking fun stuff higher in the lineup, but I think might be his overall messiness.
Like he's a capable singer but tends to go off-key and lesser vocalists get dragged along, but the proper singers can assert order and bring Domi in line.
