If you got Prime for the streaming service, you got it for the wrong reason.
elaborate?  THanks

Most people sign up for Amazon Prime for the free delivery of items ordered off Amazon.  It happens to include access to Amazon Prime Video.

Yup. All the other stuff are really just perks of the membership - music, streaming, photo storage, games, etc. They?re all useful, but not as good as the dedicated alternatives. The free one or two day delivery with no purchase minimum, on the other hand, is really the main selling feature.

I really hate these streaming services like Apple's MLS coverage.  Your trying to grow a league and it not affordable for many potential fans.  Now Prime, (which I just dumped) is offering Leaf games, wow. I quit Prime when so many of the shows also came with an extra price tag. Frik em.
Stream for free.  GDT always lists streaming sites

Yeah great Pelley, so you can this guy that actually oversaw a championship team in both MLSE and CFL, but Shanahan 10 years of nothing, no problem!

He should have been first.

This is probably going to take some time to get used to, but if you didn't hear Amazon Prime took over the broadcasting rights to Monday night national games from Sportsnet. That'll be 6 Leafs games this upcoming season:

Oct. 21st vs. Tampa
Oct. 28th vs. Winnipeg
Dec. 2nd vs. Chicago
Jan. 20th vs. Tampa
Mar. 3rd vs. San Jose
Mar. 17th vs. Calgary

Is there any package (or combo) we can get to watch every Leafs game if we want?

No, not in the US.  It is infuriating.  The nhl essentially forces people to use illegal streams.

Moving to streaming isn't a terrible idea.  Breaking your product into 50 pieces to make it as hard as possible to access games however.  To watch the Leafs you need to either pay separately for a TSN, Sportsnet, and Prime subscription or have cable with TSN + Sportsnet and a prime subscription.

The NHL has had the same executive branch running the league since 1993.  Over that time the NHL has fallen drastically behind the other major sports.  That isn't entirely surprising as hockey is always going to have some regional limitations because of the expense of the sport but did manage to throw in three lockouts to help that process.

Just stream it for free and be done. Lots of free streaming sites.

I always found it weird that scouting positions, amateur and professional, never seemed to be something that the Leafs historically just threw insane amounts of money toward in order to poach proven and established individuals away from other teams. This isn't quite the same as scooping up Joe McDonnell, Dallas' own director of amateur scouting, but it's pretty close I guess. Good hire.

Thanks.  I guess that about sums it up.

3 subscriptions and IT-know-how are required to watch your local team? Illegal streams are a pain too.

I was watching some Matthew Knies highlights and was reminded that Keefe made a Knies-Kampf-Domi line for like 50 min; it got completely snowed under routinely in terms of possession and chances against (high danger ones at that), but ended up with 3 goals for and 0 against lol

I have him earmarked for 23g and 57pts. He just needs to take more shots. Bobby McMann had 3 more shots than Knies last season (118 vs 115) in 24 fewer games played (and a bunch of them on the 4th line). They both popped in 15 goals each and should be able to clear 20 with top-6 usage.
