Cell Phones

I have one called SwiftKey.

It predicted the next word after "Leafs" should be "suck", it's brilliant.

Edit: To be fair, I was on iOS 5 until I upgraded to 7 last week, so I'm not sure if there have been improvements to the predictive text.

Not a cell phone question exactly but as someone who very recently finally got a phone where hard drive space is a consideration I want to buy one of those micro SD cards and am pretty clueless about the technology. The 64gb ones seem to run anywhere between 50 to 130 bucks. Anyone know if the pricier ones are worth it?

Are there any other variables? For example write speed: Class 10 is fine, and as long as you've got a decent warranty then you should be fine.

You should also be able to get it for $35-40 on a deal.

I mean, unless there are variables I should care about but I don't know about I don't have any particular needs other than wanting my phone to hold as much music as it can.

Can your music player accept an SD card with that much memory? Check the manual.

Get something Class 10 and above - Class 10 is a fast write speed to the SD card so media transfer will be snappy.

Other than that, you're fine!

Do you need to go 64gig though? I have a 32 in mine that is half full with much more music than I need.

I probably don't need to(although I have something like 200gb of music in total so I could find a use for it) but if it's only 20-30 bucks more for the 64 I'm good with the added expense.

For instance, if the standard MP3 is 5mb you can fit 6400 songs on a 32gig

And yeah I get wanting the bigger size. I have 3 thirty two gb  usb's with different playlists for in my truck. Depending on my mood and depending on my company a different USB is used.

Have you tried the Google keyboard with the swiping input?  I tried out Swiftkey but for some reason I couldn't really get used to it, something just seemed "off" about it.

Got ios7 on the ipad2...its a small detail, but I really miss the ".com" button on the keyboard lol

If you hold down on the period when you're typing in the address/search bar in Safari, the option to input common website domains with one keystroke is provided to you. Basically, if a period button shows up with the main keyboard, that option is there to you.

Anyone getting the Note 3 and subsequent Galaxy Gear?

Funny, I was coming here to ask the same question.

Here is a thorough review:

Well my work, being that they're two years behind the times, has switched us over to Iphone 4S's from Blackberry Torch's.

As much as the Torch was a piece of garbage for freezing, I can not believe how horrible the battery life is on the Iphone. Wow.
