I was thinking of the big bucks attached to 10-0. Lottery kind of money.LOL
Lets see what happens in the next two.  If Kessel is indeed hurting he should sit out a week and get better.

I don't forsee good things in that Vancouver game.  Leafs have been playing sloppy the last few and Vancouver seems to take pleasure in beating up on the Leafs on national tv.

I think most of us would be satisfied with 6 pts. in the next 5 games. I know I would be.

If they go 6-4 again it would my 3rd right guess so each block has gone 6-4, if this one does.
Hope I am wrong and the go at least 7-3

It's already the best chunk of the season now at 6-1-1 with 2 games left.  Could be really special with one more win.

Chunk 4 upcoming

well the redwings will want revenge for that one ..but on the other hand they'll also get to be playing their second in back to back nights with their opponent waiting at home...so maybe we can do something with that

Yeah, 8 out of 10 on the road, this will be killer.

They better get used to playing on the road. After the Flyers game, 30 of their remaining 49 games this season are road games.

Aside from my personal feeling that the World Juniors should be played in actual junior hockey cities, it just seems like a terrible strategy to force both the Raptors and Leafs out on the road for 3 weeks.

The leafs are second in the league right now with 99 goals for. Tampa is leading the league with 105, but the leafs have 2 games in hand. Statistically speaking they have the highest goals for per game if I'm not mistaken. Looking at the top 30 scorers in the league the leafs have one player and that's Kessel in the 12 spot. This is a great sign IMO. Its nice seeing the depth of the leafs now providing goals and not just leaning on the top line.

It was going to be played in Canada anyway, so some team was going to get the boot. Don't forget Montreal is also on an extended road trip as well.

It means a lot less when it is a junior hockey team that gets moved.  They only play 2-3 times a week at most and it is relegated to weekends.  So even though there can be a lot of travel, they get to go home Monday through Thursday at the very least.

So in the three seasons of doing these chunks, this is the most successful chunk so far.  They've had other chunks of 7 wins previously, but this is the first 8 win chunk in 3 seasons.  I have no idea if that means this team is now turning it around, or if it's just a fluke.

We go from just 2 road games in a chunk to just 2 home games.

At least it's not all a killer road trip just yet.  Plenty of beatable teams and who knows who will catch the mumps of polio.
