I'm just curious overall to see how he plays the point, how teams adapt to him, and how his play on the point may evolve.
That's fair. I think something to remember is that when you look at what teams occasionally do with forwards on the point like Tampa used to with Richards or Pittsburgh with Malkin is that the forwards in question do seem to know they're being asked to do something significantly different than what they typically do and that they tend to be versatile enough to add wrinkles to their game when asked.
