The Boys Season 2 was explosive.

As someone who did not read the comic I did notsee that coming.

I am not familiar with the comics at all either, but I heard they have deviated pretty far already so it has almost no bearing plot-wise (even the characterizations).

I?m 2 episodes into the Comey Rule. It?s pretty good.

Not knocking anybody watching that and it's getting decent reviews at least for the actors, but I personally can't imagine wanting to relive all that.

Sort of ties into the music thread; just watched David Brynes "American Utopia" concert on Crave. Spike Lee directed. Excellent concert, even though I was never a huge Talking Heads fan in the past, this is worth the watch.  Tunes get right into your head.

have been watching The Undoing on HBO with Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant.  2nd episode had a whopper of a plot twist. Got me hooked for more.

Also Somebody Feed Phil is back on Netflix with 5 new episodes.  I love Phil, show makes me smile a lot.

The Crown is back on November 15 as well.

My girlfriend was watching a Diana docu and I accidentally got sucked into the vortex a couple weeks ago. I am starting season 3 tomorrow lol!

man I am enjoying the Mandalorian.

It's very enjoyable. I think they've done a remarkable job in making it accessible to younger and older audiences. And the theme music is terrific.

This season has been a big video game.

You should watch Clone Wars and Rebels in the offseason. They contextualize and redeem a lot of what the prequel trilogy attempted (which were bogged down by honestly the worst dialogue, stilted performances, and over-reliance on nascent CG); as they were run by the same person (Dave Filoni), the background elements that make up The Mandalorian will be a richer experience.

No doubt.  Clone wars especially really boosted up a lot of flaws out of the prequels.  I did find Rebels a little too child centric and I think it struggled a lot more trying to balance some mature themes while trying to be aimed at a younger fan.

It?s really clear that this is a story being told by guys who are fans.  They are bringing a lot of extended universe stuff back into canon.

I've really enjoyed what I've seen so far of The Flight Attendant. Fast paced, smart, fun murder mystery.

Same. Very enjoyable so far.

I overheard my gf watching it and I couldn't get passed some of the dialog. Maybe you could sell me on it? :P

I mean, there's genuine intrigue, the pacing is good, and it's surprisingly fun for a murder mystery. The main character makes so many bad decisions, and that can be frustrating for some, but it fits her backstory and character development. In some ways, it's somewhat unique as the genre goes, but also familiar.

This looks... not bad? I mean I wasn't expecting much but I certainly like the vibe/premise.

I'm only about half way through but wanted to jump on this shows bandwagon. It's surprisingly good.
