He kinda reminds me of that UFC fighter, I don't know his name as I've only seen him in commercials years ago, and never watch UFC. Makes Brown look tougher haha

I don't know if any of you watch Star Trek, but it always bothered me that EVERYONE in Starfleet seems to be an officer, except for O'Brien.

You mean Senior Chief Petty Officer Miles O'Brien (according to Wikipedia)?

Wasn't that the thrust of the show though? Like, they only focused on the Officers and it was the non-coms in the red shirts who got killed off all the time?

Yeah, in the Original Series that pretty much covers it. I was talking more about the Next Generation. Even the red (gold) shirts were ensigns or lieutenants.

EDIT: After looking at some numbers, it appears that a Nimitz Class Aircraft Carrier with a crew complement of around 3200 has close to 600 officers (including aircrew and flag) so I guess it's pretty much in line with modern day standards. Never mind then!  :)

I am now, as of yesterday evening, a resident of Winnipeg and no longer living up north in the middle of no where, seemed like this day would never come :-D

Had to take a conflict at work after only a few weeks with my "supervisor". I told her that I don't think that we'd able to work together long term, and that I think that she has a lot of opinions about meaningless details. Tomorrow I'll have a meeting with my boss, hmm ???

I will, it was just a risky move, first job in like a year, and I start out like that. But I don't think that I am to blame, and I'm not gonna be a slave and sell myself out completely just because I need the money.

Do you belong to a union?
No, I always have temporary jobs, and it doesn't feel like a good investment to pay a union, when they can't help me to stay there, and they can't help me with the salary either.
