More or less what the Leafs paid for ROR/Acciari. Orlov's a big get for them.

How good is Orlov? Should we be worried?

If we get to play Boston the series will come down to goaltending (and maybe coaching).  They are definitely the team to beat this year, but even with these new adds they aren't miles ahead.  That said, any way you look at it we'd be the underdog.

EDIT: Ehhh I'll take that back.  Just looked at their GA versus ours and they are way ahead ... of everybody.  Impressive.

I keep thinking Ullmark comes back down to earth at some point but he's just having such a crazy year.

With 2 career playoff games is possible.

They kinda feel a bit like Tampa Bay a few years ago when they ran into Columbus...

Wow...only a 2nd pick.  Non-rental, LH winger, 18 goals, 6'2" 218 lbs 115 hits in 56 games.

A $4 MIL cap hit could have been reduced for Dubas with a 3rd team retaining.

I was hoping for him and Jeannot to counter the Bruins and TBay.  Not much left out there that seems to fit our needs and available.

Nino still has another year on his contract, so getting a third party to take on cap hit would probably cost at least another 2nd round pick. Or, if Nashville were to retain any, you?re probably looking at a 1st and a prospect instead of just a 2nd.

Also, he doesn?t really fit the team?s needs so much. They addressed that need with ROR and Acciari. The needs now are depth and maybe an upgrade on the blue line.

The biggest thing I would be concerned of is team chemistry and Nino's inconsistency.  When he is scoring he seems to score in bunches but can go 14 games without a goal which would be BRUTAL in the playoffs.

Bunting/Matthews/Nylander
Niederreiter/O'Reilly/Jarnkrok
Engvall/Tavares/Marner
Aston-Reese/Kampf/Acciari

Anyway, spilled milk at this point I guess.
