2022-2023 NHL trades and signings

Halak might have been my choice for the best back-up available if we were looking for a real #2 and not a potential 1A so NYR might have some very solid netminding next year.

I'm happy for Mikheyev.  0 goals in the playoffs with a goalie in the net.  One 20 goal season.  I'm sure he is going to be a real pain in the ass when we play him.  We definitely will miss his speed and penalty killing.  4.75M though...nope. Nope.  Nope.

Too be fair, they had some very solid netminding this year.

This is kinda what confuses me with the whole "Tampa stars take less because they don't pay taxes" or whatever line of thinking. Would Sergachev wanted like $10mil from another team?

Same with Cirelli. Good player. Solid middle 6 guy. But, 8 years at $6.25M? That's . . . something.
